TLC Senior Relocation
Downsize & Move Managers
ABOUT SUE AND VIRGINIA
We are sister-in-law owners of TLC Senior Relocation. We saw the need for this service from our experience with our parents, our in-laws, other family members, and friends. Deciding career changes would enable us to continue to "make a difference" by helping people and still use our unique qualifications, we made the leap. We combined our experience with extensive research on senior moves, both the physical logistics of "THE MOVE" and the emotional impact.
Sue brings 25 years experience in organizational management of academic departments at the University of Colorado, Boulder, including accounting and grant budgeting. Sue was a respected campus leader; she was very active professionally at CU in various campus committees, as well as in State-wide policy-making. Additionally, she has 12 years experience as a volunteer mediator for the City of Boulder, has meeting-facilitation experience, and has been a member of a successful, women-only stock investment club for many years. Sue is known for her organizational skills, common sense and a keen sense of humor.
Virginia brings a background of nursing and real estate to the mix of talents. She has been a staff nurse as well as a nursing instructor for well over 25 years. As a nurse she has worked with oncology and surgical clients in the hospital and students in both classroom and clinical settings. In addition to nursing she also enjoys another "people" industry, real estate. She owns a full-service real estate brokerage and also co-teaches a real estate class at Front Range Community College. Virginia is known for her calmness and attention to detail. She enjoys nurturing and teaching, especially clients in transitional situations.
Both Virginia and Sue offer caring, compassionate support and encouragement to clients during a down-sizing and later- life move. A senior move is "NOT just another move." Our care, efficiency, and professionalism unburden the client during this major life transition.
"Life doesn't get better by hope; it gets better by plan.
